Mike Anaya is a 96-year-old New Mexico institution. Born on February 27, 1929, in the small town of Moriarty, NM, he grew up in poverty (literally with dirt floors) and rose through sheer will and community spirit to become one of the most consequential figures in the history of the Estancia Valley.
So, What's Next?
Now it's our turn to take the 5 plus hours of interview footage, multiple photo scans and the other material we collected and put that into our editing system. The graphic here shows some highlights on what is in store for our edit team - we expect that we will have updates by end of April, and we will keep you posted on an exact date once our story editors get into the edit.
